This series of solid-sate high-output-powertelevision transmitters constitutes the new generation of
equipment produced by Screen Service Broadcasting Technologies. Theexcellent efficiency and reduced size characterizing these transmitterspermit the possible use of high output powers even in fairly crampedspaces.


SCT 103UB 10kW UHFTRANSMITTER
WITH DUAL DRIVER AND PRECISION
OFFSET OPTIONS

The amplifiers making up this series oftransmitters are fully independent and redundant, thus allowing theremoval of single modules without having to interrupt the service.

Each individual amplifier contains its ownpower supplies so as to facilitate maintenance operations and avoid theneed for additional accessories and spare external power supplies. Thedriver stages consist of two pre-amplifiers and an exciter (or two inthe case of "double driver" option) so as to maintain a high level ofredundancy.

All the functions and operating parametersof the equipment are operated by a microprocessor and
can be checked by means of a set of multifunction displays or by meansof analogue and digital interfaces located on the rear panels of eachindividual stage.

The units in this series maintain optimaloperating characteristics even when used for the transmission ofdigital signals and assure very low de-rating thanks to the verysubstantial linearity and to the oversizing of the amplification stages.
