The professional XBT 101 (stand-alone) and TX 102 (plug-in) decoders have been designed for applications that require the conversion of compressed Transport Streams with standard MPEG-2 in uncompressed analogue or digital signals. The ASI or LVDS inputs allow connection to the decoder of multi-program bouquets and the internal de-multiplexer makes it possible to select and decode only the desired service, furnishing the relative video and audio output signals or SDI stream with embedded audio to be used in digital distribution structures or to feed the DBT or DTT series transmitters equipped with a DUAL MODE option which allows the transmission of both digital television signals and analogue signals (digitally generated).

The operating parameters may be configured through the front control panel or by means of a practical interactive menu on the output screen (OSD). An internal signal generator makes it possible to obtain 23 different video test signals to allow the alignment of equipment to connect at output.
