AmberAlert Upgrade

A new software/firmware package for the EAS 911Encoder/Decoder is available and includes all the latest FCC�s Eventand Location codes for the Emergency Alert System (EAS). The upgradeincludes the new code for the �Amber Plan� (Child Abduction Emergency �CAE) and can be retrofitted into any existing EAS 911R or EAS 911Tunit.

The latest software/firmware release is V.842, and itsupercedes and replaces all previous versions, including V.840. The TFTpart number is 7100-4319 for the Main Board EPROM Kit (V.842) and theSpanish version is TFT part number 7100-4320.

If the versionof EPROMs on the Audio Expander Board ( U208 and U209) is V. 75 orlower, you will need to receive additional firmware and instructions.
